Features
- All of the features of SIMPAC plus:
- APG-66(V) category Video Simulator
- Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground modes
- Available with video scan converters to drive RS-170
devices
RVS is an application that runs
on top of our SIMPAC tool set. RVS was designed to be used as a
laboratory functional simulator for an Air-to-Air and Air-to-Surface
radar system . The simulator takes inputs from a Mission Computer
(MC), Inertial Navigation System (INS) and Armament Control Panel (ACP).
The outputs of RVS are sent to the Mission Computer and a RS-170
scan converter for use by a Display Processor for cockpit heads down
displays.
RVS supports the following radar
modes:
Air Combat, Air to Ground
Ranging, Beacon, Fixed Target Track, Map, Doppler Beam
Sharpening, Map Enhanced, Map Expand, Map Freeze, Maritime
Target Track, Range While Search, Situation Awareness, Sea,
Initiated BIT, Single Target Track, Track While Scan, Track
While Scan Bugged and Standby.
There is also a 10 target
generator that can be used for formal and informal testing of weapon
system and subsystems.
- Designed for applications which require an integrated
solution for A/A and A/G Radar Simulators.
- RVS can also be configured to provided RS-170 video for
driving Display Processors as well as any other subsystem which
requires RAW Video.
- RVS has been designed in a modular fashion which makes it
the perfect tool for sensor rapid prototyping, crew trainers and
system development and integration facilities.
