Distributed Simulation Suite

The  Distributed Simulation Suite provides an integrated tool set which supports real-time distributed communications and post runtime analysis.

Applications include: Part-Task Trainers; Human Engineering; Crew Workload Studies; Sensor Integration; Mission Effectiveness Research; Mission Rehearsal.

RIPP Router

The RIPPRouter module supports the connection of a SIMPAC Workstation to an Ethernet backbone. This module takes the local vehicle entity data and produces Entity Attribute Updates. Incoming Entity Attribute Updates are filtered and inserted into Theater's global Entity Data Structures, which allows sensor models to see both locally generated Theater Entities as well as remotely generated Entities.

All communications with this module are via the SIMPAC memory interface.

Incoming Entity updates can be logged for post-run data reduction.
